Hi everyone, well once again the great outdoor season is over and what a season it has been for our men moving into the 1st Division of the Littlehampton Gazette League. It has taken twenty five years of dedicated optimism and belief in the capabilities of our men over the preceding years.
Let us all enjoy the next year with the 'big boys' and see what we can achieve. The ladies did quite well also in the C & M League finishing a commendable 6th considering that our membership numbers were low, but we are hopeful that next season will see more ladies joining us and therefore will be able to go from strength to strength and achievement.
Finals day for both Bognor and RAFA clubs were held on brilliantly sunny days with compititors giving of their very best. Tension ran high throughout the day, and results eagerly anticipated. In the end winners were happy and runners up glad that it was all over. Check Club pages for info.
We look forward to doing it all again in 2010 and having your company in combined matches with visiting touring teams, Open Days such as the Mazda, and The Jim Lorrimer Wings Appeal Day.
We very reluctantly but gratefully decamped into the great indoors that is Arun Indoor Bowling Club where we are able to continue playing our beloved game of bowls amongst all our outdoor allies. We have quite a lively group of Bognor players on Wednesday evenings at 8.15 pm participating in an informal roll-up and having the odd drink. We can guarantee lots of laughter and we look forward to having you join us. Just put your names down in the steward's office.

SOL DON PABLO Torremolinos, Spain
Two weeks before Christmas we were heading off to Torremolinos to meet up with friends made at the start of the year and looking forward to meeting new clients of Mercian at the Sol Don Pablo for some great bowling and to celebrate Christmas and the start of 2010.
